She has said, "I think I was in Class 4 when I was in Leh. My brother was just born. My dad was in the army and was posted there. I stayed in Leh for a year and my memories of that place are tremendous ... We were all army kids there. We weren't living in houses, we were in bunkers in the valley and there was a stupa right on top of a hill which used to overlook our valley. We used to race up to the top of the stupa". Kareena Kapoor

Kareena Kapoor: Done Many Films for Friends, Now Will do for Story

Actress Kareena Kapoor says that her priorities have changed after marriage and that she will do only those films that can give her enough time to spend with family.

The actress, who is married to Bollywood actor-producer Saif Ali Khan, recently turned down Zoya Akhtar's film Dil Dhadakne Do as she couldn't go on cruise for three months since she is married.
"I am at a stage in my life where my priorities are different. I am married and I would like to give time to my family," Kareena told reporters in a group interview.

"I would not go out for three to four months. That is the reason why I refused Zoya's film. I couldn't go on a cruise for three months. I want to do a film which will work according to my time. I am very clear about that," she added.
Dil Dhadakne Do was first offered to Kareena and now Anushka Sharma has replaced her. The film also features Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Rahul Bose, Shefali Shah and Anil Kapoor.

Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon: I Am More Comfortable Facing a Camera Than Walking a Ramp

After walking the ramp for the likes of Tarun Tahiliani and Rohit Bal, model Kriti Sanon recently made her Bollywood debut with Tiger Shroff-starrer Heropanti. Overwhelmed with the success of her first film, she says acting is much easier than facing the live audience.

"I feel that modelling has groomed my personality and made me a confident person, but even today when I go on the ramp, I get nervous. I am more comfortable being in front of the camera than walking on the ramp," the 24-year-old told IANS.
And the Delhi girl has a reason for that.

"While walking the ramp, you face a live audience and those 15 minutes of walk have no retake," she said and added that as an actor even if one is "surrounded by people, you are sure of correcting your mistakes with retakes".

A product of Delhi Public School, R K Puram, Kriti's tryst with the ramp began at the age of five. She has rubbed shoulders with biggies like Madhu Sapre and Milind Soman on the ramp.

Meghna Gulzar previously directed Filhaal and Just Married. Both movies, as well as Talwar, have been christened by her father.

 Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone's Naina Gets Facebook Page on Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani Birthday

Actress Deepika Padukone gave four superhit films in 2013, but it was her character Naina Talwar from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, in which she co-starred with Ranbir Kapoor, that won many hearts. And on its first anniversary, Deepika's fans have gifted her a Naina Talwar page.

Deepika's bespectacled look, simplicity and acting prowess in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani struck the right chord with movie buffs. The film completed a year on May 31 and some of her fans put together a Naina Talwar page on Facebook on March 13, which went live in May.

Their idea was to personally present the page to Deepika on the first anniversary of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. They tried their best to do so but were informed that she was not in the country.

"It is a very thoughtful gesture. They have put together many memorable moments from the film. We have shared the link with Deepika," her spokesperson said in a statement.
